The Lakefront Career Network (LCN) has announced a new partnership for 2022, The Michiana Humane Society.

Each year LCN, the young professionals committee of the Michigan City Chamber of Commerce, chooses a non-profit to spotlight through a unique partnership. In doing so, LCN creates an increased awareness of the organization and what they do. By connecting to a mission that resonates, LCN volunteers can connect with other people and make a huge difference in the community.

LCN Chair, Matt Weber stated, “The Lakefront Career Network is excited to announce Michiana Humane Society as our 2022 Spotlight Organization. They are the type of local organization that provides a vital service in our community and perfectly aligns with what the LCN looks for in a Spotlight partnership. We look forward to assisting in every way we can to help them reach their goals for the coming year and to continue to spread awareness for the amazing work they do.”

“The Lakefront Career Network is pleased to partner with such a wonderful organization such as the Michiana Humane Society. This partnership will create a network of new opportunities for not only the young professionals and the shelter, but for the animals we all know and love. We are incredibly excited for this upcoming year,” echoed LCN Co-Chair, Bailey McGrath.

“We are thrilled to have been selected as Lakefront Career Network’s 2022 Spotlight Organization. We’re looking forward to strengthening our relationship with the Michigan City community and expanding our reach to give more homeless pets their second chances,” expressed Michiana Humane Society Development Director, Heidi Tuthill.
