Holly is a Michigan City High School graduate and Michigan City native. She is a graduate of Indiana University where she received her Bachelor of Science of Elementary Education. Next, Holly moved on to receive her Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. Currently, Holly continued her educational journey through Indiana University’s School of Graduate Studies to receive her Principal’s Licensure Certification. Post-graduation, Holly moved to Illinois where she taught at a charter school on the south side of Chicago. After her master’s Holly became the kindergarten through second grade instructional coach for the same school.
In August 2016, Holly rejoined her hometown of Michigan City and serves as the instructional coach for Springfield Elementary School (MCAS). Holly has implemented a Career Speaker volunteer program that brings individuals from the community into Springfield to share about their occupations, educational journey, and any other information that they are willing to share.
Outside of being an instructional coach, Holly enjoys running, traveling, and exploring all of the positive changes within her community.
