Lakefront Career Network Opens Application Period for 2024 Spotlight Organization
Michigan City, IN – August 22, 2023 – The Lakefront Career Network (LCN), the young professionals’ group of the Michigan City Chamber of Commerce, has opened the application period for its 2024 Spotlight Organization.
LCN chooses one non-profit organization to spotlight each year through a unique year-long partnership. In doing so, LCN creates increased awareness of the organization and what they do. By connecting to a mission that resonates, LCN volunteers can connect with like-minded young professionals to make a significant difference in the communities in which they live and work.
“As the chair of the LCN Young Professionals Committee, I can honestly say that our committee members are some of the hardest working people I know. That being said, the 2024 Spotlight Organization can rest assured that they will be in good hands. Through networking, fundraising, and collaboration, your organization will be able to enjoy the fruits of its labor and be recognized as a catalyst for community growth and development,” stated Jeremy Rossi, LCN Chair. Rossi continued, “I wish we could help every organization achieve its goals, but unfortunately, only one can be chosen. I wish you luck and I want to personally thank all the amazing organizations in La Porte County for everything they do for our community.”
The Lakefront Career Network is proud of the partnerships they have created in Michigan City and the surrounding La Porte County area over the years. Past LCN Spotlight organizations include Stepping Stone Shelter for Women, Boys and Girls Clubs of La Porte County, Reins of Life, Dunebrook, The Michiana Humane Society, and most recently, Interfaith Community PADS.
