Lakefront Career Network Opens Application Period for 2023 Spotlight Organization
The Lakefront Career Network (LCN), the young professionals’ group of the Michigan City Chamber of Commerce, has opened the application period for its 2023 Spotlight Organization.
Each year LCN chooses one non-profit organization to spotlight through a unique year-long partnership. In doing so, LCN creates increased awareness of the organization and what they do. By connecting to a mission that resonates, LCN volunteers can connect with like-minded young professionals to make a significant difference in the communities in which they live and work.
“The Spotlight Organization partnership offers a unique opportunity for an organization to reach new audiences, communicate their mission, and raise awareness for their events throughout the year,” stated Matt Weber, Chair of the Lakefront Career Network. “It’s always a pleasure to also work with the individuals who make up the Spotlight Organization and see firsthand the many efforts that go into making a difference and leaving a positive impact in our community.”
The Lakefront Career Network is proud of the partnerships they have created in Michigan City and the surrounding La Porte County area over the years. Past Spotlight Organizations that LCN has partnered with include Stepping Stone Shelter for Women, Boys and Girls Clubs of La Porte County, Reins of Life, Dunebrook and most recently, The Michiana Humane Society.
