Lakefront Career Network Opens Application Period for 2022 Spotlight Organization
Lakefront Career Network (LCN), the young professionals’ group of the Michigan City Chamber of Commerce, has opened the application period for its 2022 Spotlight Organization.
Each year LCN chooses one non-profit organization to spotlight through a unique year-long partnership. In doing so, LCN creates increased awareness of the organization and what they do. By connecting to a mission that resonates, LCN volunteers can connect with like-minded young professionals to make a significant difference in the communities in which they live and work.
“LCN’s Spotlight Organization initiative allows young professionals in the area to learn more about an organization that serves our community, but more significantly, how to be a strong advocate for our non-profit agencies,” stated Chamber President, Katie Eaton.
The Lakefront Career Network is proud of the partnerships they have created in Michigan City and the surrounding
La Porte County area over the years. Past Spotlight Organizations that LCN has partnered with include Stepping Stone Shelter for Women, Boys and Girls Clubs of La Porte County, Reins of Life, and most recently, Dunebrook.
To be considered as the 2022 LCN Spotlight Organization, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a registered 501c3 organization.
- Have been established for at least 5 years.
- Have a strong local presence in Michigan City.
- Be willing to work with LCN Committee to coordinate involvement.
