Michael Kopec, a new recent Michigan City addition, came from a Blue collar family on the south side of Chicago. The first in his family to attend college, he graduated from Saint Xavier University in Chicago as a student athlete playing Collegiate football 2000. He received a Masters Degree from Olivet Nazarene 2002. Starting out in Education at the High School and College level he taught a variety of Classes including English, Composition, Biology, Health, and Economics.
Mike moved to Northwest Indiana over 15 years ago, and recently relocated too Michigan city 2 years ago. A life long client of Edward Jones since the age of 5, Michael was recruited out of the education world into the finance industry and has continued to help educate students and their families in understanding finance and investments. Hired by Edward Jones in 2011 Michael now has an office located here in Michigan City and is dedicated to serving the serious long term investors and local businesses.
When not at a clients kitchen table or in the office, you can find him walking his dog, Reading a personal development book, participating in the Michigan City Exchange Club, Coaching Youth Sports, helping the Zoological Society Professional Committee, or working on his churches Finance Committee. He lives by the philosophy that people don’t care what you know until they know that you care.
