Craig was born and raised in Michigan City area and attended Michigan City area schools. After high school he attended Purdue University North Central and went on to run the service department for Harbor Buick, GMC Superstore. After a few years of working in the Dealership he decided it was time to get into the family business of Construction and Property Management. He is now Project manager for Michiana Construction and Management Inc. along with maintaining and managing the Woodland office Complex in Michigan City.
Craig has been heavily involved in the revitalization of down town Michigan City particularly between 4th and 7th streets and is now working with the Northern Indiana Education Foundation on their 422 building which currently houses New Dispatch and Fiddlehead restaurant and will be providing the renovation for the new Star Center Facility on the 2nd floor of 422 Franklin St.
Craig bought his first home in his early 20s in the Edgewood neighborhood in Michigan City where he currently resides. Craig married his wonderful wife Ashley soon after and now has two adorable twin girls, Lila and Mia.
In his spare time Craig enjoys spending time with family and friends, snowboarding or skiing in northern Michigan, and watching the Chicago Bears and Bulls. He is an avid sailor and races throughout the summer. This year will mark his 6 Chicago to Mackinaw race, the longest annual fresh water race in the world. Most of all he enjoys traveling and experiencing new places with his family.
